Roving the Craters

to

I contacted an old friend to see if we could drop in on him. It turned out he was playing a concert at Craters of the Moon, a national monument. It's a really geologically fascinating place, as well as a very unique landscape.

Had a super fun evening.

View from the top of the hill overlooking camp
On our way up to see what we can see.
A friend's band played at the park, right before listening to an astronaut talk.
A completely home made rig. He explained some of his difficulty with registration.
The ground is lava!
Still a little ice under ground.
Cave rave!
Time to go cave exploring!
Hot springs on the side of the highway.
