Day trip to Summersville

There is a lake here that gets filled each year, as a reservoir for a hydroelectric dam downstream. When the water is low early in the year there's access to some fun rock climbing. Later when it's filled up, there's swimming and deep water soloing.

This lake is actually a dammed river. In the summer, the lake is filled and the entire shoreline disappears
